We have been returning phone calls about the rental all morning. People rant and rave about the price of the rental. They want everything included for 675 dollars. Ah, no. Once again, we are making the trip to clean up the property. I have rooms of furniture to get rid of and trash. I was angry last night because they left the house wide open, doors open. All I need is a squatter in there. I told my husband that we are back to my invasive practice of Facetiming with the tenant monthly. This practice people disliked, however, it allowed me to have an eye on the property. I also pay someone to change a light bulb to get a look around. People will complain there isn't enough affordable housing, deposits are too high, landlords are too strict. I could go on and on. Last night, the potential tenant called me back to let me know they had abandoned their dog. The poor dog was left with a large vat of water in the fenced yard space. I called the deputy. Why do people have to be so cruel to animals? This has been my worst nightmare. I told my husband I was installing a security camera on the outside of the property. I am done. It will be disclosed in the lease. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
