We left early early Thursday morning to correct the issues at the rental. I was furious when I entered the rental. It was a disgusting mess that one would expect to find in a 3rd world country. I found that over 15 people had been living in the house. I had inspected the house in April. There were no signs of anything amiss. We were due for another inspection in July. We arrived at the rental around 330 in the afternoon. The house was disgusting with things that I will not discuss here. I emptied the house by throwing everything out the front door. My husband made repairs and changed the locks.

We had 15 people living in the house. The house took 2 days to clean and empty. The lawns were mowed and I planted flowers. The showings didn't go well. I had several no-shows, a woman screamed at me because I wasn't willing to show the house after 9 p.m. Another person who had seen the house before I did my magic wanted to rent it for nothing to work the deposit and a break on the rent. We were able to remove the debris, clean, and paint everything. She has called over and over. I am firm about the cost of the rent. We have decided to include all the utilities and internet to create a higher market. We wanted to provide affordable, safe housing for the community.

We left without a tenant and were home by 3:45. I immediately dealt with the chickens and watered the backyard gardens. I unloaded the car. I ran the dishwasher and the washer. We will have to get ready for another trip, I cannot live with everything amiss. I had everything back in shape by 5:30. DInner was on the table by 7. I had taken a chicken casserole out of the freezer, salad, and homemade bread.
