In today's video, I will be discussing about the challenges we have as individuals when we think our way works better, and eventually end up having to humble ourselves to learn that life won't always be what we thought.
In the book of 2 Kings 5:10-14, we learn about Naaman who had leprosy and didn't realise the favour that was on his life from Prophet Elisha whom God instructed to heal him. In the book, we see that Naaman had 'thought' about his own strategy of receiving his healing, whilst the Prophet gave him simple instructions to dip in the Jordan 7 times, which he eventually surrendered and was healed.
We should not wait until life becomes critical before choosing to obey and live a life or surrender; even when we have our own ways of doing things, it will take humility to admit and accept you don't know it all and need help.
We are all on the journey of life and in different seasons where we can learn from Naaman and Elisha, and how we too, can become better to those God places in our lives to help us, and rather than delaying our progress, to submit to the process of becoming a whole and healthy individual. Let's get into the topic! Watch the full video on YouTube here
