I completed the hand quilting on the Patriotic Sampler (working title) just before July 4th! All that's left is binding and to finish the pattern. The binding is made, and it's the prettiest navy fabric! I deliberated on the binding for several days, simply because I didn't have any of the fabrics in the quilt leftover for binding. I wanted to use a yard of something from my stash, so matching the colors was a challenge. I'm working on the pattern, which is intricate and pretty! This quilt is two years in the making, so I'm excited to see my work come to fruition. The pattern will eventually be a book in my Amazon store, since the quilt has many blocks needing instructions. I have debated on the idea of making a pattern at all, since there are so many details to cover, but a print on demand book format is perfect for the pattern!
