Stupidity of the Taiwanese government, still blindly relying on Uncle Sam to "protect" us, to DEFEND us, after all, we'd, purchased, how many dollars of national defense materials from them again? And, on the same side, our money's running low, and, eventually, we will, run out of money to "donate" to Uncle Sam, and, by then, Uncle Sam will, DESERT this god damn, ISLAND! But hey, let's let these stupid people on this island (note: I'm not one of those!) live in their, IGNORANT bliss, let's not give them that HARSH dose of reality not just yet anyways! The attempted assassination on a presidential candidate's life, showed how hatred is now, taking over American politics. Just like described in the "Cultural Warfare", the oppositions that surfaced on subjects of gender, immigration, abortion rights, social welfare policies, etc., etc., etc., had worsened in the U.S. In 2016, when Trump was elected president, he'd made the exchanges of verbal violence worsen, into the daily happenings in the U.S. Democracy is, suffocating, under the goings on of the vanishing of communication, and compromise. What was ironic, was that under the below-standard of Trump's political centrifuge, Trump was, shot by that bullet of, hatred.
The studies showed, that it was an interaction of "negative political party" with "polarization of emotions" that's combined to cause the U.S. politics to, polarize, in 2020, when Biden won the election, it's because of too many voters hated Trump, which drove the majority of voters to elect, Biden.
Biden said that Trump getting shot was upsetting, "this is why this country needs to work together". But he seemed to have forgotten he'd already stated, "No matter what, Trump is a fascist that needs to be, stopped!". The tragedies that were caused by hatred, is still, growing in numbers. Two years ago, when the Japanese P.M. was assassinated, and several months later, Kishida Fumio had a bomb thrown at him, and this February, the Korean leader Li was assaulted by a murder weapon in Pusan.
The polarization of emotions in Taiwan occurred earlier than in the U.S., in the 2004 presidential election, the writer, Hou wrote the "fifty-percent dumpling stand", mentioned that the dumplings aren't "color-specific", that in the end, the people going to purchase the dumplings at the stands, all chose, sides, this is, the result of polarization of politics. Actually, before Lai got into office, Taiwan was already, suffering from "internal damage of democracy" already. In the ongoing ideological disputes, the manipulations of the various parties, most of the citizens already believed, that defying China is an act of loving Taiwan, that the KMT and the DDP is not doing well, because they're "leaning toward China". With the polarization of politics, the healthy public opinions are on the, collapse.
With the DDP taking the lead, the currently broiling over movement to impeach, the keyword is, "the value of hatred", mobilizing the masses using hate, from a negative side, this is rare in the world, but, Taiwan got manipulated by the DDP, to vote their, way.
The western political scientists are now worried of the populist governments that are now, on the rise in Europe and America, that's slowly, shifting toward, tribalism.
What is, tribalism? The belief of those anti-constitution, elected into office (like in Brazil, Hungary, Poland), believing that the elected official have the power to enforce justice, with the black and white that differentiates between the cultures of a country, with NO middle grounds for the ultimate battle of good versus evil.
And this sort of leaders clearly showed the multivariate attitudes of anti-democracy, using populist words to mobilize the masses. They'd manipulated the differentiations of the people of a country, causing the conflicts, the riots, breaking the principles of democracy and the morale, and all of it is to serve oneself, for the self to survive, and victory of the self. What the democratic countries are faced with, that's more dangerous, is not the populist government, but the tribalism that's, more dangerous, using the name of, democracy, that destroys a democratic, government.
The reinforcement of false information spreading in tribalism. The blind trust of the tribes, causing people to become even more susceptible to false data. And, tribalism defends violence, like in Hungary and Poland currently. If Taiwan is approaching tribalism, then, our democracy is, in danger.
The famous words of Zweig: "the generations of ignorance in war, causing the countries' people to believe that their own sides are the justified, that's what's caused the greatest danger of wars", isn't it?
And so, this is still, on how the government played on the people's ignorance, and, because we the people are already completely, BRAIN WASHED by the propaganda, the maximum exposure of negative data input on the news media, in the papers, the radio or whatever, that's why, we will all become, ZOMBIES, following that god damn LEADER, as they took the entire race of people down that cliff to, commit, SUICIDE! And, there's just, NO snapping out of this, now that the "chain" is, already, mobilized and, moving along…because we the people are STUPID, we are the ones, electing these, CORRUPT politicians into, office, and now, they'd, RUINED us, and we can't, oust them, because these corrupt political parties controlled ALL branches of the governments that we are ruled under! And we the people, still, followed this bad leadership of the DDP, down that path to war, and we DESERVE to D-I-E, WHEN (it will happen, before Lai's term is over!) China ATTACKS.
