In Revelation 4 The elders fell down and cried {spoke seems not to get the full picture, there must have been an expression to hard to describe at how the elders fell down and worshiped in God's awareness}
Verse 11: "Our lord and God, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because You have created all things and because of Your will they exist and were created."
God is worthy because of Who He is, the God of infinite perfection and holiness. and because of what He has done. God Who loves us dearly, but loves us to much to leave us the way we are.
God Who has plans for all of us Jeremiah 29 Verse 11; "Plans for our good and not for ruin".
So I question to ponder is this: How can we individually show our daily walk, that we serve a worthy God?
Is our speech worthy of Him?
Is our conduct worthy of our privileged position in the family of God?
Do We talk about Him often?
Do we worship Him wholeheartedly?
Seek to please Him on a daily bases?
Our Lord and Our Friend doesn't love us because of what we do for Him, we can never anything for Him to love us more. Through understanding that great love He has for us, we should want to do and be the best we can out of our for Him and what He has done for us.
God so loved to give the best He had, His Son, so we might have life through Him, free from the power of sin and death.
Let us write a daily reminder for ourselves, with the Words of Revelation 4 verse 11 written where we can not miss them. Reminding ourselves frequently that Our Lord and Our Friend is deserving of our greatest devotion and acts of our service. Indeed He is worthy, because He came to set us free, free from the powers that would try to harm us.
He Is worthy Indeed,
God Bless.
