Florida's top leaders are reacting to an incident at Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he went to the ground after what the Associated Press calls "apparent gunshots" and an injury to his ear before he was escorted out by Secret Service.
While more is to be found out about what happened exactly, Florida leaders have plenty to say.
"This was clearly an assassination attempt on President Trump. I'm glad he seems okay, and I am praying for him and all who were at the rally. There is ZERO tolerance for violence. I hope this monster is already caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," said Sen. Rick Scott.
"Praying for President Trump and all those attending the rally in Pennsylvania today," said Sen. Marco Rubio, who is in line to potentially be Trump's running mate.
"PRAYING FOR DONALD TRUMP. WE LOVE YOU MR. PRESIDENT," said CFO Jimmy Patronis.
