James 5 verse 13: Amplified Bible: "Is anyone among you afflicted — ill-treated, suffering evil? He should pray. Is any one glad at heart? He should sing praise {to God}."
Life always has challenges, and there are times when things are going great.
The first part of this scripture in the Amplified Bible is expanded to highlight the word 'suffering' to include 'afflicted', 'ill-treated' and suffering evil.
The answer for all these challenges in life is PRAYER — COMMUNICATION with the God that created us.
Remembering John 3 Verse 16: "For God so loved the world {US} in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life".
God gave so we could be restored to relationship with Him. So when we accept Christ Jesus as our Lord and Our Friend, He is with is on our journey through life.
But we must remember to talk with Him, this is PRAYER {Communication with Him}.
If at this present time if we are going through difficult circumstances, talk to Him. He knows anyway, but He requires us to ask Him to help.
The help might not come in the way we expect, but it will come, and it will change the circumstances around our lives.
The scripture verse is trying to point out, when we feel on top of the world, tell Him too. Our Lord and Our Friend wants us to share the great moments as well.
Relationship with Our Lord and Our Friend means constant communication. So if you are on a downer, and feeling poorly, TELL Him.
Faith is an expectancy — not just empty believing.
Gratitude to the good times in our lives is also part of vibrant Faith.
Faith and Trust in Our Lord and Our Friend is our answer to "For God so loved that He gave".
Be Blessed in your entire journey through life. He said He would Never leave us or forsake us.
God Bless.
