Writing makes me lose all sense of time and place. I enter my characters' lives and their world. My husband will watch me bemused that I am lost in this world I have created. I am immersed in the smells, sound, music, clothing, etc for the decade I am in. One morning I decided to give my husband a sense of where I am. I dressed in vintage jewelry and clothing. I played 40's music on the record player.
