Another month, and par for the course, I am running behind on EVERYTHING! But don't fret! I've been holding myself more accountable and wrote down an actual list of things I need to do and when they need to be done by. (The list helps, trust me!)
Mostly, I'm getting back on track because the school year has started and for the first time in like 3 months, no one in my family has any doctor's appointments. I don't know what happened exactly, but this summer was the most my family has ever needed to go to the doctor. It was nuts. Granted, two of us did physical therapy, so that was part of it. Nothing earth shattering, one of us is old and one of us has a curve in their spine. I know it sounds alarming, but we are good. Healthy for the most part, and completed our physical therapy and both of us are feeling much better.
Now, with the million trips to various doctors out of the way, my plan is to start tackling my long list of writing projects that I'm behind on. My blog is included in that list, so without further ado, here is the much anticipated short story prompt for August 2024:
A Wild Animal Loose in the House
This should be fun! Think of the possibilities! It could be an extinct animal, or a magical creature, or someone more ordinary but no less chaotic!
I am excited! Whatever you're working on, hope it's going well!
Happy reading and writing today and every day!
