I went to Walmart to get a few items we needed. I noticed that meat prices have doubled in our area. I am so blessed that we raise our meats. My family consumes more meat than I do, and I am thankful to provide clean meats for them. My son's teacher called to tell me she wants to move him from Honors English to AP. He has surpassed her reading list, I told her I wasn't surprised I have been teaching him the classics since 4th grade. So, he is taking 3 AP classes this year. Both kids will be taking college classes next year. I am not sure if I have written about how we homeschool. They attend an accredited online school. However, I teach above and beyond what they supply us. Both kids take 8 classes and they participate in outside music and art. I canned another 150 jars of food stuffs today. I enjoy watching my pantry fill back up. I dropped off 25 books to stock the tiny library. I love seeing them gone the next time I stop. I always leave little notes in these books about what I thought as I was reading the book. Our little dog has settled into our lives.
