Life in the Blood Part 2
As I came to write this week, I recalled a song called 'Better Word' and some of the lyrics are– 'Your blood is healing every wound, Your blood is making all things new. Your blood, the measure of my worth, Your blood, more than I deserve – Your blood speaks a better word.'
Oh the blood of Jesus, our Lord and ourFriend, may we never stop saying "Thank You for Your blood, Lord Jesus". In awe and wonder, at the amazing sacrifice that gives us peace with God, let our hearts always praise Him with grateful thanksgiving.
Hebrews 12:24 (you have come)…"to Jesus, the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel." The blood of Abel cried out 'vengeance' (Genesis 4:8-11); but the blood of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, cries out forgiveness for our sins, healing for our bodies, and peace and soundness for our minds. Thank You for Your blood, Lord Jesus.
Hebrews 9:11-12 NLT "So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that great, perfect sanctuary in heaven, not made by human hands and not part of this created world. Once for all time He took blood into the Most Holy Place, but not the blood of goats and calves. He took His own blood, and with it He secured our salvation for ever."
For those of us who have accepted Him as our Lord, Savior and Friend, He has secured our salvation for ever. Thank You Lord Jesus.
God's rich blessings. Kath
