The quote was part of an email sent to various Bond-related websites. The IFP message was done in the voice of Moneypenny. In my last missive I made a mistake, wrongly attributing the quote 'The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success' to Ian Fleming, when in fact the credit for this line lies with screenwriter Bruce Feirstein, who worked on GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and a half-dozen James Bond video games. My sincerest apologies go to Agent Feirstein for this error. In Feirstein's own words: 'On one hand, I'm flattered that people think Ian Fleming wrote that line. But on the other, for me, he remains the master. There is no Bond without him'. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
