We are all sick now. However, some things need to be done. We got through the home-schooling lessons. The chickens needed cleaning, so I ended up doing that. My husband can't fit in there in there so I completed that task. Daisy needed to be walked as she was very naughty which means she is puppy-bored.
Our former roofer left his landlady high and dry. He busted all the windows out of her unit. Maddie called me to ask me when did I know they left; I said 2 weeks ago. Everyone knows that I keep an eye on things. She wanted to know if I wanted to start managing their building. I told her I would require a salary of 2000 to manage their buildings.
I ended up napping because I am very low energy right now. I left the gate open and I heard a crying toddler and an infant crying on my porch swing. I got to see if the television was on.
There was a stranded mother in broken-down mini-van stuck in the middle of gate opening. I have to say I was not in the most of charitable moods. I took a breath. This looked like the most friendly house on the block. All the Sunflowers, and greenery. I informed her that we were ill. She told me her father was a policeman and she was trying to get to Montana. I have to admit I doubted her story. I called the garage down the road (he is also on town council). He would get her van out of the way so I could bring the kids to their medical appointment. I informed him of what was going on. He called her father. Her story was true. Turns out, that the dad had grown up in this area Then, he asked me, I would let her stay in the tiny house with the children and provide meals for them. I said I would. The town would pay me to put them. I told him that wasn't necessary because our renter had left us 2 weeks early so it already paid for.
I had my husband drive the kids to the doctor. I put on a mask and led the tiny family into the tiny house. We had a renter who left early.
I set the crib we have for our grandchild. I gathered the leftover diapers from the last time our grandchildren visited. I brought over some books and appropriate toys. I brought over milk, cereal, sandwich stuff, veggies and fruit, and three family-sized, homemade dinners. They will be staying in the tiny house until Thursday morning. Her father called to thank me. He offered to pay for us putting them up until Thursday. I told him it wasn't necessary.
My husband came home to report the kids have the flu. So, they are in bed. He smiled at me weakly," Let, me guess the little family are in the tiny house. I know George called me to see if it was alright. He figured you would be the hard sell,
