Surprisingly, I have carried this little dance purse with me since she died when I was 5. It went through grade school and high school, and it was in my overnight bag when I gave birth to my daughter. It is one of the only things I have had since childhood. It is a usable keepsake. I wear the same cherries in the snow lipstick, I replace it every few months in the lipstick holder. My mineral powder is in the powder sifter. My money, driver's license, and credit cards are stored in the dance purse as well. I still have the quarters from 1950 in there as well. These are the quarters she had handled for a phone call.
