It is a wonderful experience of seeing somebody, accept Christ Jesus as their Lord, Savior, Redeemer and Friend. But that experience is just acceptance, of accepting the Gospel message.
The message brings new-life, and the journey begins, with the best Friend, anyone can have.
Colossians 1 verse 27: "God wanted to make known to those among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory".
But how can we bring Him glory if we stay stagnant, in the acceptance only experience.
Jeremiah 29 verse 11: "'For I know the plans I have for you'— this is The Lord's declaration—'plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope'."
Plans to grow in our new-life in Him, and not just to stay as new babes In Him. The reality of this new-life In Christ is, we need to learn to trust Him.
Proverbs 3 verse 5: 'Trust in The Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding".
We we learn to trust Him, in our continual learning experience, we will also find, He is our sufficiency.
2 Corinthians 12 verse 9: "My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness".
We have all the sufficiency for life we need, IN HIM, but we need to trust Him with all that is within us {That is what is meant by heart}, to truly grow in all the plans He has for us.
To lead somebody, with the help of The Holy Spirit, {remembering any 'Whosoever can come and accept .John 3 v16}, to want to give their life to the Lord, is a wondrous experience. Experience both will have, but it is a more beneficial experience for both, if we can help and nurture in that persons growing experience in The Lord.
We can do this many ways, but one of the best ways is being consistent, in our own faith, our consistency comes from, trust Him with all our heart and serving Him through everything we do.
Psalm 103 verse 1: "My soul, praise The Lord, and all that is within me, praise His Holy name".
We can grow and serve Him better, when we allow Him, to be the focal point of our lives. We can do this though praise and worship, to Him, which will also help us grow, in the plans and abundance He has for our lives.
God Bless.
