I canned 120 jars of tomatoes and 20 jars of beets. I made 25 jars of salsa. I made it to the gym. I showered and got ready for a memorial service for a friend/coworker of my husband's. I hadn't met him. I could go on and on about the hundreds of little things I completed last night and today. My husband's friend died tragically. Many people turned out for the service. He was very much loved by his community and family. The son's commentary caught my attention. He was a son totally in love with his father. It was clear that the son felt total love from his father his entire life. His father appeared to be rough around the edges, however, he held two BA degrees in science. He was a man who loved nature. He was a man who loved the mountains and people. His daughter spoke next, she was very religious and she said that religion and faith between her father and her was simple: he and the big man had understanding. She too spoke of love from her father. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
