And, the end result of this, is that all the primetime news channel would be, DDP-favored, as everything still gets BOUGHT OFF by the DDP, and there's NOTHING that WE the consumers can do 'bout it!!! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
She'd Passed Out after Getting Drunk and Died, the Man Originally Charged with Manslaughter Found Not Guilty
The Courts Found that the Man Had NO Responsibilities to Prevent the Crimes, and the Verdict Turned Around in the Second Trial
The man, Shih and the woman, Wang, acquaintances, went out drinking together, Wang was passed out and injured herself, when Shih found her, she'd already, died, the police and district attorneys found drugs inside Wang's systems; the first trial found that Shih didn't follow the "attentive responsibilities", sentenced Shih to two years on wrongful death, but the justice of the second trial believed, that Shih had no responsibilities to prevent the death, changed his verdict to not guilty, this can still be appealed.
At around midnight of April 6th, 2021, Shih went to sing at the karaoke pub where Wang worked, they'd shared a bottle of whiskey together, after Wang got off work, they'd gone back to Shih's home, and they'd, downed another bottle and a half of Whiskey, they'd both passed out in the room.

The following night at around eleven, Shih saw that Wang hadn't come out of the room yet, went into check, and found that she'd, stopped breathing, the coroners and the police report showed that there were traces of ketamine in her blood, and the cause of her death being drug and alcohol abuse, overdose.
The father of Wang questioned Shih for being responsible for his daughter's death, leaving her alone in the room, only texted her, and when she'd not read nor responded, he'd not gone into the room to check on her, believed that Shih had indirectly caused his daughter to die, and sued him for manslaughter.
The Kaohsiung district court found, that Wang was tested positive for multiple substances, that her blood alcohol concentration was high to the point of causing her to die, that Shih had bought the alcohol, or had already been in the home of Shih, that the risk of her death was caused by Shih, and as Wang fell ill, Shih didn't go into the bedroom to check on her, that Wang's death is related to Shih's doing nothing, sentenced Shih to two years for manslaughter.
The D.A. fought for an appeal, and Shih appealed and claimed his innocence again; the Collectivist Court of the second trial found, that although Wang tested positive for the illegal substances, and Shih tested positive of ketamine in his urine, but there's not enough evidence to prove that he had abused drugs or that he'd provided the drugs to her.

The Collectivist Court based off of Shih's testimonies, found that he had, asked Wang if she need to go to the hospital, that it'd fitted to the concerns of people toward someone who's drunk, and because they weren't related in any way, Shih did NOT have the responsibilities of the dangerous behaviors, he didn't have the responsibilities to prevent the crimes, changed the verdict to not guilty.
And, this is how it goes, because the woman is DEAD, and the families felt grief, and that's why this man who was drinking with her, abusing the substance with her got sued, and this still wasn't just, I mean, the woman is a grown woman, she's the one to have made the decisions of abusing the substances, and the man who took her home, has NO responsibilities to ensure her welfare, that's why the courts found him, not guilty of manslaughter, because the woman OD'd on her own!
