In 2023 and 2024, his large Bond collection was auctioned by U.K.-based Ewbanks. There are two types of Bond collectors: Those who publicize their collections early and often (and on and on until you're tired of hearing about it) and those who take a more restrained approach. Oxenrider was among the latter. Still, Oxenrider alerted proprietors of Bond-related websites (like me) when there were mistakes on sites such as IMDB.com. Oxenrider also sent this blog images or programs from the 1994 and 1995 official James Bond conventions. Here's an excerpt about the announcement of his death: Steve had a number of passions, first was James Bond films, accumulating a vast collection of memorabilia beginning in his high school days. Amusement parks (particularly roller coasts) and travel were also his passions. All 3 interests often overlapped, in visiting over 80 countries, trips often included stops at James Bond film locations and amusement parks. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
