If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from Isaiah 40 Verse 31:
Isaiah 40 Verse 31: "But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.
What does it take to trust? The dictionary meaning for trust is: "A firm belief in something"
One of my favorite scriptures and there are so many favorites is: Jeremiah 29 Verse 11:
"For I know the plans I have for you" —-this is the Lord's declaration—-"plans for your welfare not disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Our Lord and Our Friend has plans for us, after all He created everything and we are not created without hope, and here in this scripture He very clearly says that.
In Isaiah He says that those who put their trust in Him, will be transformed, He will renew their {our strength}. Trust in The God Who loves us, is a transforming thing.
How do we start this trust journey, with the God Who loves us? John 3 Verse 16and 17:
V16: "For God loved the world in this way. He gave His one and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."
V17: For God did not send His son into the world that He might condemn the world, but the world might be saved through Him."
God has a plan and that was His plan for us to be transformed by what Christ has done for us.
It is a free gift, not to be earnt, just to be received with a trust belief and in that trust, belief understand Our Lord and Our Friend has plans for our lives plans to transform our lives into what He crated us for.
Trust a firm belief in something, isn't what Our Lord and Our Friend has for is something we should commit our trust to.
