I canned 40 jars of beets, 20 jars of peaches, 20 jars of jam, and 100 jars of tomatoes. The afternoon was spent on the road. We have a contracting job for s fencing project. It was a 2 1/2 hour ride each way. I went for a run while my husband gave an estimate for the job to our clients. I needed a run after being in the car for so long. We returned home at 9. The family had taco salads. I had cottage cheese ice cream with berries and granola. I like cool things for dinner when the weather is extreme.
