I Moved 6 Times As A Kid, & I Refuse To Do It To My Kids

"I moved a lot as a kid," writes our own Katy Elliott today. "My dad worked in pulp paper mills in the 80s and 90s — not a great time for the industry — so we moved six times, chasing jobs. We spent at most four years in a town, which was long enough to feel settled but short enough that it never felt like home. I went to two elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools."

And she's talking about the impact it had on her — and what she decided to do differently for her own kids. I bet a lot of you will relate.

Stassi Schroeder's New Book Gets Hilariously Real About Making Mom Friends

Today we have something fun: an excerpt from You Can't Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide To Taking The Pressure Off, a new book by former 'Vanderpump Rules' star Stassi Schroeder. And she's tackling the topic of mom friends: "Since Hartford started getting invited to birthdays, my social anxiety has found a new reason to kick into overdrive. Based on the amount of stress I experience before baby and toddler parties, you'd think I was raised in a dark cave with zero human contact. Kid birthday parties are a breeding ground for social awkwardness." It's very real — enjoy!
