Hello friends, I am pleased to share with you an idea I had recently. As many of you know I have written a book about what we can learn about winter prep by studying Proverbs 31 in scripture. My idea was to put into practice what I talk about in my book, in the form of a fun challenge to share with you all. Since I am going to be doing my own preparations, I figured I would keep you informed and hopefully encouraged to start taking small and slow steps towards winter preparedness.
This is a free challenge to participate in, and you do NOT have to read my book to follow it. I did write a free short study guide on Proverbs 31 which you are welcome to have. The PDF can be requested my emailing me christinaourwoodhome@outlook.com
I apologize for the delay in sharing this with you, since the challenge started yesterday. But every 2 weeks I will be sharing a new task for us to work on, so there is lots of time. Task 1 is to take stock of our winter clothes and accessories to make sure it is still wearable. If anything needs replacing, make a note and start sourcing new items.
I have some socks that need darning, a coat that needs a button sewn on, and I need to thoroughly inspect my boots to see if they are cracked. Last year I remember my feet feeling cold and wet, so I may need to replace my boots.
I have a video going into more detail about task 1.
