Hey there dear readers,
Summer leaves us on Friday, September 20 and I'm happy to see you guys. From apples to pumpkins, this is one of my favorite seasons. I have an apple donut recipe I'd like to share with you. In my hood, Sickles is rumored to be reopening but not in time for apple picking? Say it ain't so! That means we'll be treaking out to Colts Neck or maybe Atlantic Highlands.
The summer was fruitful. So much happened. Our family dog, Buddy, passed and we have the cutest puppy possible, Bentley. My sister's family just got another dog, Peaches, after Rocky moved. We stayed in the Chinese Shar-Pei, Pitbull, and Bulldog family. I must have barbequed a dozen times this summer with friends, it was so good and so much fun! Additionally, I had the hottest raft and pool float. My bathing suits were so cute. I went crabbing. Tried muscles for the first time and really got into the Babysitters Club sitters series with my daughter. We're besties.
My husband and I have children on our mind. I'm definitely getting baby fever.
Other then that, I can't wait to share with you new classroom updates and plans. I've also taken cooking classes, which started in April 2024. Expect lots of post like that coming up.
For the fall, I've taken to Target for cheap thrills. An apricot throw, a pillow. My mom is looking for Mums---they have them at Foodtown. I'm throwing a party for Peaches, I ordered 10 full peaches to fill a clear bowl and some autumn colored items. Our party is on Sunday. My daughter is growing up so fast, last night we had the coolest conversation.
Ugh, the Giants didn't beast up on Minnesota at all but Jersey girls are still going to be rooting for them!
Fall into the season, it's worth it.
Lots of love,
Nicole
