We're Divorced, But We're Still Partners

"When my ex and I separated 10 years ago, we were very clear about one thing: our kids would come first," writes Diana Park. "They'd come before our feelings about each other, new partners, and any hurt, sadness, or mourning we had. It was important that our kids didn't get caught in the crossfire of our divorce. I'm proud of us as parents; we've done a good job with all three of our kids. Not a perfect one, but a damn good one."

But she got something else out of the arrangement that has really surprised her.

But it can feel a little hairy the closer you get to trick-or-treating, especially on a school night," writes Samantha Darby. What are you supposed to feed these little ghouls???
