Hi there, I have to admit something: I am a planner by nature. Always have been, and probably always will be. Sometimes to a fault. Having kids has taught me to live more in the moment, but deep down, I still feel the most comfortable when I have thought things through. Mindful, thoughtful planning actually helps free me up to be more present in the "now", too. So, you recently downloaded the 99 Questions to Ask Yourself Before, During and After Parental Leave. (Or maybe you haven't yet, but you can do it now!) Maybe you're like me, and you jumped right in and hit the ground running. Or maybe you're not the planning type, and you've hit a few snags. I get it, I really do. Preparing for parental leave can seem like a daunting task, especially with everything else you need to do to prepare for the pending arrival of your little one! But I truly believe that when you approach your leave with calm, thoughtful planning you will be setting you and your family up for long-term success. Think of it this way: Your leave (and your baby!) is going to happen, whether you feel ready or not. The way you approach it can make all the difference in the world. You've already taken a great step in thinking about the questions to ask yourself as you prepare. All you have to do is keep going. You got this! Lori P.S.
