There're very few bands that have really withstood the test of time. That can legitimately stop and say they have had a voice in almost every decade since they formed, while having an extensive catalog to rely on still produce not just music but hits. Witch makes it all the more difficult to pick a song for todays Classic Rock Wednesday…Thursday edition. So break out the Guitar Hero as I try and narrow down a song from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends.

There really isn't much I can say about the band that hasn't already in their four decades of being together. True they did almost blink out of existence if it wasn't for the help of Run-D.M.C. but I honestly think they would have found a way back into the mainstream eventually without the boost. Aerosmith has be a part of or involved in every trend since they formed and still put on a hell of a show as they continue to perform to sold out arenas around the world. To me they are the foundation of Rock, to music both old and new and are in my top five all time favorite bands who have created masterpieces that will endure all of time. So….with that said and to try and keep it within my usual areas of focus while choosing something from the best-selling American Hard Rock Band of all time. I'm the Listener giving us all something to believe in with and Aerosmith's first number one hit "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" from Armageddon.
