The towns we visited seemed to all have gates like these to go through to the main town area: ....whi" Days Filled With Joy Visiting Volkach Joy Oct 27 After we had lunch at Vogelsburg we headed off to the nearby town called Volkach... all German towns are so cute, and this was no different... The towns we visited seemed to all have gates like these to go through to the main town area: ....which leads to a town square... The buildings are so old, and pretty - with decorations and flowers in the window boxes. Being such a beautiful day there were lots of spots to sit outside and drink coffee.... And the tables all had lovely Autumn flower arrangements on them... In the shops there were Autumn decorations for sale.... But also lots of gorgeous Christmas decorations! I just loved all the bright and colorful geraniums everywhere you look... And then there were the bakeries.... We bought a few yummies there to take home It was a beautiful day, and we headed home with some lovely memories! Tomorrow I'll be back with part 2 of our Mystery Autumn Stitchalong!
