Hello! As you know, having started our business as 'WoMo' we have rebranded over the last few weeks as Ludo. Why? At Ludo we provide tech for inclusion in the workplace. We are a content platform to support employees, line managers and HR transform the experience in the workplace to drive a more inclusive culture. WoMo (Working Mother) was where we began, to support women at work through the process of maternity and beyond. Last week we launched our Menopause module to educate all employees on how best support through the menopause. Our content is available to all employees because we know, a culture where we can speak our truth, be truly in our authentic self and educate not just ourselves, but line managers too, helps drive psychological safety in the workplace. We are called Ludo after the game (Parcheesi if you are reading this in the US). It is a game of 4 teams that work to travel round the board to win in the centre of the board. There can be setbacks, when someone lands on your square, and the entire team need to reach the centre of the board to win. For me, this is a metaphor for a business, and you can read more on why we are Ludo, just here. Our newsletter will share our new content on the website, insights into driving inclusion at work, and continue to support maternity, menopause and more. We are thrilled to have you on this exciting journey, and if you would like to see our menopause module or understand better how Ludo can help your company, please let us know. Finally, I wanted to have a mini rant about Halloween. Is it just me who hates it? It feels like it has become a plastic tat fest where feral children inhale too much sugar, and the parents feel utterly at a loss with a mountain of sweets in a (more plastic) bucket. Last night I didn't decorate the house. I did not take my son out to knock on doors. In fact I never have. Ask my teens. They will tell you 'Mummy says we can go trick or treating but with a friend. She doesn't get involved'. That's about right! So yes, my son went with a friend, who has a mother that is far more pro Halloween than me. I celebrate her. My son had fun, and everyone wins! This week we have a blog on fertility in the work place and we need your help to sign up to the Fertility Workplace Pledge. And we have a special offer from Bird + Wolf x Ludo. to bag yourself a personalised jacket. Please remember to introduce us to your employer. We want to have a chat with your Head of HR or Diversity & Inclusion lead on how to retain female talent. Thank you, | | | | | Ludo are excited to bring you a special offer from Bird + Wolf.
