The official website for The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽, a new anime special in the franchise, has announced that the anime will air on television in Summer 2023 and screen in Japanese theaters for three weeks, starting on July 14, 2023. The new anime will adapt stories that have not yet appeared in the previous anime projects.
The first season of The Quintessential Quintuplets premiered on Japanese television in January 2019. Crunchyroll simulcast the season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub. The second season premiered on Japanese television on January 7, 2021. Crunchyroll simulcast the second season, and FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dub.
The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie opened in Japan in May 2022, and the film serves as the finale for the story. Crunchyroll began screening the film in the United States and Canada with English subtitles and with an English dub on December 2, 2022.
