PROMISE #1 I am the Lord your God and I never change. Malachi 3:6
God promised that he would be the same today, tomorrow and forever. He is consistent in his love and grace. He does not waver from his commitment to mankind and his loved ones. He declared his place in our life, the universe and sits on his throne holding strong to us.
PROMISE #2 I am full of mercy and grace and I overflow with love. Psalm 103:8
Through all of our issues, sin, desires, wants and needs. God remains committed to our well being. He offers full grace for every bad thought, sin and desire of the flesh and his love overflows to us. He is like a huge waterfall that runs constantly washing us clean and making us whole.
PROMISE #3 The intentions of My heart will remain steadfast forever. Psalm 33:11
God is intentful in his actions. Just as we should be, so is he. He remains steadfast and strong and his heart is pure with love and grace for us. We should honor that and seek to remain steadfast in his word and love.
PROMISE #4 I created you in My own image with My special blessing. Genesis 1:27-28
God created man in his image. He made us with the intent of pleasing him. We can be a blessing to him if we choose to bless others. We are born with the ability to be an intellectual being, spiritual; being, physical being and of free will. We were created to be special and separate from all other creatures in God's creation. God tasks us with the power and strength to have dominion over the earth and its creatures big and small. We were made to be part of his spirit and to flourish in his will and support.
PROMISE #5 I chose you to be adopted into my family before creation. Ephesians 1:4-5
We are adopted to become part of God's spirit and family. He knew us before we were born and knows the number of hairs on our heads. God saw that we would someday choose his spirit and accept it as ours as an eternal gift and a special inheritance.
Lord, let me hold to your word and your promises. Let me know that you are always present and hold to your eternal word. Amen
