Katie Bingham-Smith is back with another dispatch from the wild roller coaster ride that is menopause. This time, she's talking about sleep. "Around the age of 46, I started waking up at night so hot, even in the winter. I've always been someone with bad circulation and used an extra blanket to sleep at night. I figured it was a fluke, but it wasn't," she writes. "Night sweats turned into full-blown hot flashes that year, and it really wrecked my sleep." The good news is, she's got some strategies that helped her, and might help you, too. Maybe a nice excuse to finally buy yourself those linen sheets you've had your eye on? It's Mother's Day soon, after all…. Kelly Faircloth, Executive Editor |
