Ignite Imaginations is holding The Art of Imagination & Volunteering conference on Tuesday 11 July. The event will take place from 9:30am-2:30pm and will be held at Post Hall Gallery, Sheffield Hallam University, S1 2AY. The event is free to attend.
Bringing together representatives from research, the creative community, health, voluntary sector and education, this conference aims to examine how creative volunteering shapes our lives and inspires new opportunities. The event will delve into how uniquely the arts sector and working with creativity and imagination at our hearts can open up experiences for growth, connection and learning on a personal and organisational level. Attendees will hear how volunteering helps arts organisations reach out into communities, builds careers and supports people to do the unexpected. The event will feature talks, activities, group discussions and workshops.
