I sent her my vlog post, but she didn't get it at all, so here – I try again.
You always say that, in Israel, they are so good with medical science. – It's a fallacy that all Jews are bad or good. We too have thieves and quacks.
The researcher was from Israel, right? – This is below your level. You always say it doesn't matter what someone is, only who they are.
So, I thought it "might be of interest" to you. – It's a study on the US saying nonsense – that struck me. There are four authors. Should I then need to check if maybe one is from Israel? How irrelevant!
I didn't need confirmation of my ideas because they are MY ideas. -- The disease of our times: What one feels is true because facts are dead. But there is freedom of opinion but not of facts. You can feel whatever you want, but don't call unchecked ideas science or truth. Beliefs are faith. That's allowed. But honesty and dishonesty are still not the same thing.
But despite that, you confirm them. – No, I did not confirm your ideas. You twisted and turned what I wrote until it roughly says what you think.
*Not everyone in Israel is holy – I didn't know that? This is called a straw man's argument: You attribute a wrong idea to your opponent and then prove the idea wrong. See my first comment above.
* You agree that if we'd shoot "such" scientists, only a few good ones will be left. – Exposing flawed science doesn't mean that all quacks are right now. Those are much worse. I rather wrote: Such [incompetent] scientists should be removed, but I think then we would have few left because this kind of nonsense is so commonplace.
* What does that say about the current scientific press? – That there are abuses there too. Performed by people, you know. But you can hold them accountable for their faultiness. Quacks you can't. They are oracles that are always right per (their) definition.
* Aren't we better off with fewer but good scientists? – Well, the drivel of the day. Sounds like: Aren't we better off with fewer but good people?
For me, you don't need to change your thinking but don't tell me your writing is factual. Nothing of it is right at all. You were brainwashed by imposters and still believe their lies. That is your private 'right.' But it becomes bad when you want the whole world to be fooled. This anti-science saga is not the first hoax in the world, and what generally passes for true often also contains nonsense, but the anti-vaxxers have taken gobbledygook to a whole new level.
I think you are too smart to believe such nonsense. But a very good friend of mine in Israel is smart and still believes this kind of rubbish. Apparently, it has more to do with emotions and sentiments than with intelligence.
My friend is Dutch, living in the Netherlands so she can take the candor.
The Times of Israel rejected this post writing me: "This is incomprehensible for anyone but the person involved. Not everything is suitable to be published on our website. As mentioned in the past, please filter and submit fewer, better posts." True, little respect or encouragement.
