Day 30 Mental Wellness Moment - Joy Gives Strength!
What? How can Joy give me strength? Through my journey of Hope I have learned the joy of the Lord is my strength. Keep reading….
For it is only with God's strength that I am able to complete all that God wants me to do in spite of circumstances, in spite of how I feel, in spite of what I see, in spite of what I hear, for we can have joy in the midst of the storms of life.
This joy fills our heart with peace, knowing God is in control. The joy comes from the love that he has for each and everyone of us.
I believe in God's Word for His Promises are TRUE!
Nehemiah told the people
" …This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
Nehemiah 8:10 NIV
Joy Comes After the Mourning!

Grief, death, sorrow, even children going off to college or getting married can be overwhelming and yet we are promised that our joy will come in the morning, after the Mourning.
Loss of loved ones, loss of dreams cause us to loose hope but let me encourage you today God has a plan! He loves you and is there with his arms stretched open to welcome you to rest in His peace.
It's during these times where we walk by faith and not how we feel we put one foot forward and keep standing in Faith. God's promises are true! He loves you and longs to turn your heart to Joy once again.
"Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away." Isaiah 51:11 NIV

Lord Jesus, I pray today for those feeling Loss, Grief, Sorrow, deep despair and depression even hopelessness. Hold them closely today to feel the anointing of your Holy Spirit. Overwhelm their hearts with your love, pour in your presence through a Peace that surpasses understanding in a manner your child has never experienced before!
Just as David cried out Restore to me the Joy of my salvation and Renew a right spirit within me. I pray for my friends to restore there, Joy once again.
Wrap your arms of love around them with comfort as a soft, snuggly, warm blanket on a frigid dark day! In Jesus name amen!
