Psalm 25 verse 4 & 5:
Verse 4: "Make known to m, Lord teach my your paths".
Verse 5: "Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for you all day long".
There is a wonderful old Hynm called 'Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah'. The first verse is:
Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrims through a barren land;
I am weak, but Thou art mighty;
Hold me with thy powerful hand;
Bread of Heaven,
Feed me till I want no more.
It should astound us that the God of the universe who created everything, wants to have a one on one relationship with us. He wants to lead us and to guide us. He wants our hope to be in Him alone, all day everyday.
It is a choice to be made by us, because He is just waiting for our response to His call. John 3 verse 16:. Any 'whosoever' can accept. God is omnipresent, whether we believe in Him or not, and Acts 17 verse 28; tells us: "For in Him we live and move and exist".
John 15 Verse 5: "I Am the vine you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him {or her} produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me".
To abide In Christ is more than putting Him on the top our priority list. While that is well and good, God wants so much more for each of us. He doesn't just want to be at the top of our lists, He wants to be the center of everything that happens in our lives. Every relationship we are in, every conversation we have, everything we do, our Prayer should be Guide me o Great and Wonderful God.
His promises are true, and He has told us He will never leave us or forsake us.Hebrews 13 Verse 5:
God Bless.
