View all responses I am not fond of the word sacrifice, it has an unspoken reflection of a martyr. I don't like self-pity. Life choices require decisions to be made. It took me a long time to finish my BA and later a Masters. I had my first child when I was young. The decision interrupted my education path. I would earn an associate's degree. I entered a BA program, however, finances and work obligations interrupted my education. I finished on my 3rd attempt. I entered my Master's program and finished it.
