Romans 10 verse 17: "So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ'.
We are faith carriers, but more than that, we are sanctuaries in whom The Holy Spirit resides. 1 Corinthians 6 verse 19;
Verse 20: Tells us we have been brought with a price, we have value to God. We can never repay the cost, of God The Father giving His Son, to die on a cross for us, and rising again to give us new life. We can use our faith, with the Power of The Holy Spirit Who resides in us as born again believers, to fulfill the rest of verse 20, 'Therefore Glorify God in your body'.
Perhaps that is what is meant by, 'Actions speak louder than words'.
Some people view faith as something, not clear or distinct and even mysterious, but faith is one the Believers most practical expression of our beliefs.
Faith without works is dead. James 2 verse 26:
Faith needs an action, not so we can prove a point, but that the Holy Spirit Whom resides in us, Power can be displayed through us.
Actions faith can have, because we believe, run from evil. 1 Timothy 6 verse 11;
Fight the good fight of faith. 1 Timothy 6 verse 12; This is not calling us to a physical fight, 2 Corinthians 10 verse 3 and 4:
V3: "For all though we are walking in the flesh, we do not wage war in a fleshly way".
V4: "Since the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds".
We can offer our faith: Hebrews 11 verse 4:
"By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain did".
We can offer of faith, through praise and worship, because of all Our Lord and Our Friend has done for us.
We can take hold of what God has for us by faith; Ephesians 6 verse 13 to 17: Take hold of the full amour of God, so we can stand IN HIM. Romans 8 verse 1.
Believing Faith is not enough, Faith must be acted on and acted on with all that is within us, by the Help of Who is residing in us, The Holy Spirit. Then faith and The message of Faith, will be more evident to the unbelievers.
God Bless
OFJ.
