Humility is a deep awareness of unworthiness, not worthlessness.
Psalm 8 Verses 3 and 4:
V3: "When I observe Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You set in place".
V4: "What is man that You remember him, the son of man that You look after him"?
When we look at the vast expanse of creation, we wonder how God could be concerned for all the people who constantly dis appoint Him.
The next time we question our worth as a person, remember that God considers us highly valuable. We have worth because we bear the stamp of Our Creator.
Genesis 1 Verse 27: "So God created man in His own image; He created him in the Image of God; He created them male and female".
Created in His image He created both male and female, that is the extent of worth God places on all people.
Because God has already declared how valuable we are to Him, we can be set free from any feelings of worthlessness.
Humility means proper respect for God, not self-depreciation.
John 3 Verse 16: 'For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.
God Bless.
